Fruits not only have a full appearance and tender flesh, but also have a high juice content and are rich in a large number of vitamins and nutrients.
The fruits are cleaned and graded by automation, which greatly enhances the added value. So, how is the whole process? Today we will bring you to our R&D factory to visit the fruit cleaning and grading production line process.
1、Raw material receiving
Fruits are delivered to the production line from the supplier, and the
receiver inspects the fruits and records the relevant information to ensure that
the quality and quantity of the fruits meet the requirements.
2、Pre-cleaning
Fruits are first pre-washed to remove surface impurities and dirt. This usually involves the use of an immersion washer, where the fruit is submerged in water to loosen and rinse away surface dirt.
3. Grading
After washing, the fruit enters the grading stage, where the fruit is
classified based on characteristics such as size, shape, color and quality.
Grading machines use sensors and image recognition technology to detect the
characteristics of the fruit and assign them to the appropriate category.
4. Washing
After grading, the fruit enters the main washing stage. This usually involves
the use of high-pressure water streams and spray systems to thoroughly clean the
surface of the fruit of dirt, impurities and pesticide residues.
5. Rinsing
After washing, the fruit needs to be rinsed to remove detergent residues.
Rinsing is usually done through a water bath or spray system to ensure that the
surface of the fruit is clean and free from detergent residue.
6. Air drying
After rinsing, the fruit needs to have excess water removed. This can be
achieved by centrifuges, vibration units or air drying.
7、Packaging
Fruits that meet the standards enter the packing stage. Depending on the requirements, the fruits can be packed into cartons, plastic bags, mesh bags or boxes. Packing can be done manually or using automated packing machines.
